LELÉKA is an ethno-jazz band that has been creating music that weaves together old Ukrainian songs and modern jazz forms for almost a decade. Founded by Ukrainian singer and composer Victoria Leleka, the band has long since taken its place among recognised European musicians.
The band has performed in Germany, Sweden, Poland, Austria, the Czech Republic, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and other countries, released five studio albums and won numerous prestigious awards: European Jazz Award Burghausen, Creole Global Music Contest, Munich Jazz Price. In Ukraine, the band is known, among other things, for the soundtrack ‘Zozulja’ to the TV series ‘There Will Be People’.
The international press calls their concerts ‘music that touches the heart and penetrates the skin’. Victoria Leleka has been compared to a phenomenon that can ‘make time stand still’.

ShekBand is a talented youth band from Kyiv that falls in love with Contemporary Jazz from the first chords.
ShekBand has successfully performed on many prestigious stages both in Ukraine and abroad. They are winners and participants of more than 50 jazz competitions and festivals, such as Tremplin Jazz d'Avignon and Jazz in the Park Cluj-Napoca.
When they gathered their first audience at the Zhovtnevyi Palace in Kyiv, the eldest member of the trio was only 18!
ShekBand recorded their debut album, The Inflatable Ram, the day before the war.
It was released on 29 April 2022 on all digital platforms with the support of HGBSBlue Label, Germany, and Taklit Agency, France.
The album was successfully presented at concerts in Ukraine and Europe, as well as in Alex Dutihl's ‘Open Jazz’ programme on RadioFrance.

They play rhythmic collaborative music that starts with jazz and branches
into funk, soul, electronic and experimental music. Each member brings their own style and background to, resulting in a fresh, energetic sound shaped by improvisation and a collaborative approach.
Aniel Somillan is a multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer who began his musical journey at the age of six. He studied classical guitar at the Amadeo Roldán Conservatory and later explored different genres and instruments. He founded the
band Aniel y el Quilombo and won the Jazz Junior Competition with Ilú. Known for his extensive collaborations and fluency in several languages, Aniel combines different musical styles in his work, drawing on classical, jazz and contemporary influences.
Marcin Franciszek Sojka is a drummer, producer and improviser. He studied
jazz at the Bednarska School in Warsaw and at the Academy of Music in Łódź.
He is a co-founder of the band Tropical Soldiers in Paradise, where he participates as a composer
and creates the beats, drums and xylophone parts. He also plays with bands such as Jah Trio, Jarecki Jazz Octet, Taiga and Lunamë. Marcin has performed with a wide range of artists, including Zbigniew Namysłowski, Kasia Lins and Piotr Ziola.
Nathan Williams is a trumpeter and pianist who began playing trumpet at the age of 9 and piano at 11.

The Impressions jazz quintet was founded by well-known Ukrainian musicians who set out to popularise world music culture in Ukraine and Ukrainian music culture in the world. "Lviv Frank Sinatra" is how the Impressions project's lead singer is informally known to everyone who has heard the voice of Pavlo Ilnytsky, one of the most famous jazz singers in Ukraine. Dennis Adu is one of the brightest jazz leaders and the most famous jazz trumpeter in Ukraine. Mykola Kistenev, one of the most prominent Ukrainian jazz musicians, plays double bass and bass guitar and has collaborated with a number of well-known artists, including the bands Pianoboy and Urban Gypsy. Oleksandr Malyshev, one of the most virtuosic and creative jazz pianists in Ukraine, is at the piano. Yaroslav Borys, one of the most promising drummers in Ukraine, who has collaborated with such star projects as Tina Karol, Gaitana, and Iryna Bilyk, will play drums and percussion. During the full-scale invasion, the Impressions project does not stand aside. The musicians want to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine with their work.
